Earlier than you think. My calendar fills quickly, and maternity dates are some of the first to go so if you're newly pregnant and already thinking about photos please don’t hesitate to send me a note. Reaching out in your first or second trimester means you get your preferred date, location, and the breathing room to plan without any last-minute stress. Sessions typically take place around 28–32 weeks when your bump is full and beautiful. Many clients book their newborn session at the same time, so everything is locked in before baby arrives.

Absolutely — and honestly, encouraged. Some of my favorite maternity images include a partner, older siblings, or the whole family together. There's something special about documenting this moment as a family, not just a bump. Let me know when you reach out who you're thinking of including and we'll plan the session around everyone.

Wherever feels most like you and sometimes that's more than one place. I offer multi-location sessions for mamas who want it all: the intimacy of your own home, the place your baby will actually come home to, paired with an outdoor or meaningful location that tells the rest of your story. If a single location feels right, we'll find the one that's unmistakably yours.
