Family Stories

For the families that prioritize presence over poses. You want the real. The way they laugh with their full body. How it feels to hug them tightly against you. What your morning looks like together.

If those are the captures that mean the most to you, you’re in the right place.

Capturing their childhood and your parenthood

We’ve all been there as parents. Everyone piling out of the car like you didn’t just lose it on the kids for almost getting chocolate on their best clothes while saying “okay everyone listen to the photographer and SMILE!!!”

Okay maybe not quite that dramatic, but around here, that’s definitely not the vibe.

Each family session begins slowly and without pressure. This isn’t the type of session that’s going to stress dad out and make mom feel like she’s pulling teeth.

The goal is presence. To be comfortably yourselves and make genuine memories together.

FAQ

  • Most families book 8 to 10 weeks out, and spots fill quickly around holidays, the fall season, and spring. If you have a specific date or location in mind, reaching out sooner gives us the best chance of making it work. That said, if you have a last-minute need, it's always worth asking, cancellations do happen.

  • This is the number one thing families worry about, and it almost never ruins a session. Kids move, get distracted, have big feelings — and some of the most real, beautiful moments come from exactly that. The session is paced around your family, not a rigid shot list, so there's room to take breaks, redirect, and let things unfold naturally. You don't need your kids to perform. You just need to show up.

  • Mini sessions aren't something I offer as they don’t allow the space for the art that I want to create for families. My sessions are designed to leave room for your family to warm up, for us to lean into the creative process, or for everyone to relax. We want the real moments, not the posed
